Use:
- All Skeppshult cookware works on induction. gas. electric. and ceramic cooktops. The extra-thick base gives excellent contact and stability. especially on induction.
- Medium heat is best. Cast iron retains heat so well that there’s rarely a need to go high. Let your pan preheat gradually for even. beautiful results.
Care:
- No seasoning required??Skeppshult pots come pre-seasoned and ready to cook.
- Clean with warm water and a soft brush or cloth. There’s no need for soap. but a small drop of mild dish soap is okay if needed.
- Avoid soaking the pot or using harsh detergents. steel wool. or the dishwasher. Try the BBQ-AID Chain Mail Scrubber for stuck-on bits.
- Dry thoroughly after washing to prevent rust.
- Lightly oil after drying if you like. though it’s optional.
- To refresh the seasoning. heat the pot. rub in a thin layer of oil. and let it smoke gently on the stovetop for a few minutes. No oven needed.
